After-Christmas in Chicago

We headed to Chicago on December 27th.  No snow while we were there but there was no shortage of fun either!
Cousin Rene making Mimi's hair fancy :)
 Little girl by the tree...
Mimi got to feed baby Jack - I think he likes it!
Hank had a not so fun incident.  He ate some candy with egg in it from a gas station on the trip up...it seemed to make his lungs close up a bit and he got wheezy.  We ended up at an urgent care for 2 breathing treatments and an inhaler.  He is fine now - not so fun, and a little scary :(
Rollerskating with the cousins at Mommy's old stomping grounds - Funway!
Hank and Mimi picked up on the skating pretty quickly!
 Phew...we need a skate break!
These 2 adorable faces love each other soon much!
Also took a trip to Epic Air for some trampoline fun with the cousins!
Jack got a lot of special treatment from the lady cousins - including getting pushed around in a laundry basket  for quite a while.
We celebrated New Year's!  Everyone was in bed by 10:30 :)
And the trip is not complete without one of Grandpa Wayne's malteds...yum :)

Christmas!!

Taking out the food for the reindeer
Showered and ready for bed.  Placed the cookies and milk for Santa :)
Part of Hank's haul...lots of good stuff - he really wanted Baymax!
Mimi's haul-lots of good stuff for her too...
Isabelle!  Santa brought her the American Girl Doll she wanted!
 Hank's GIANT slot car track!
Mimi and Isabelle doing some crafting together :)
This is only part of Hank's track - we could not fit the whole thing in his room:)

Christmas Festivities

We had our annual friends Christmas party - Mimi and Grace are enjoying some good food and fun!
Daddy got a little crazy with the Barbie guitar...maybe a few too many shots??
Mimi's Christmas Nativity pay at the preschool
 Our little "angel"
 The angels :)
This is what Christmas break is clllllll about!  Chilling in bed with the iPad.
 Working on cookies for Santa...
They were just told that we still have 6 hours before bedtime and then Santa will come...

Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed Visit

Hank is now playing basketball and he loves it!  He is getting better at moving towards the ball and not away from it :)
Grandma and Grandpa came for their Christmas visit.  Lots of playroom fun!
And of course, the junk ball.  It is not Christmas without the junk balls :)
Everyone got in on the Wii Dance!
Grandpa doing some serious Mario Kart racing - trying not to go over the edge :)
the 2 Mary's - one modeling her new Frozen hat
Hank loves spending his Lego time with Grandpa :)
Bitty Baby and Mimi got matching pajamas - Mimi's new favorite pjs!
Some down time - Hank reading to everyone.  We had a great visit with a lot of crying when they had to say good-bye :)

Thanksgiving

Indian Princess Mimi enjoying her Thanksgiving luncheon at preschool
And then we took off for Florida!  Warm weather for the Thanksgiving holiday sounded like a really good idea!
Weather was beautiful - low 80's, the water was a little cool but that did not bother Hank and Mimi :)
And, of course, you must build sandcastles  - even if they get knocked over by the waves.
We surprised them with a trip to Downtown Disney on a rainy day.  So we hit up the Fantasia mini golf and a few other spots...
And we had a few sweet treats while we were walking around Disney as well.
And then we went back to St. Pete and enjoyed our last beach days of the season.  Can't wait to head down there again in 2015!

Playing Catch-

I am not sure where the time went but we hit November and it flew by!  So I will be playing catch-up with photos from November and December.  Sorry to all you faithful blog followers for falling so far behind!
We had the BoyScout Punkin Chuckin - which was so much fun!  Hank got to launch pumpkins and see how far they would fly before smashing to the ground :)
They had to pull hard to get it launched....
The ladies just relaxed  on a blanket and ate s'mores while watching the chuckin :)
Our little dancer - ballet and tap.  She finishes the winter session, has a spring session and then a recital in May

Tap, tap, tap :)
