Food Allergy Walk Atlanta

Saturday, October 1st was our Food Allergy Walk. THANK YOU to everyone who supported Hank's Heroes. It was a cold morning...but we rallied and had a great time!
Here is our walking team.... (L to R) Addison, Michelle, Alexis, Rob, Mom and Mimi, Dad and me and Jeff.
Who we walk for!
There were a couple of hills...but we made it!
And when it was all said and done, we had fun and we really look forward to it next year!
Right after the walk, we took off for Aunt Liz's house in FL. But the walk wore me out so I had to contain my beach excitement to catch up on some rest!
"What, we are almost at Aunt Liz's house....but I am not ready!!"
"I have to do my hair and....." :)
Whatever....are we there yet??

Beach pictures coming soon...

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed came for a visit a couple weeks ago...and did we have fun! Grandpa took us for some great wagon rides!
And they played with us....
And we visited the Botanical Gardens. We took a walk over the new walkway the constructed high up in the trees...it was pretty cool!
And we took pictures by the pretty scenery...
And we walked and walked and walked!
Mimi spent some time with the frog...
and I spent some time trying to see how I "measured up" to the flowers.

We spent most of our time playing and having so much fun! We did not want them to leave...and we can't wait to see them again real soon!

This big boy is fully potty-trained now! And he did it in a week...all by himself...no more diapers at all! So as a reward he got a scooter...which he absolutely loves! Daddy is happy because that saves us money and I am happy because it is a lot less diapers to change each day. Yay for Hank!

A Few Updates

First of all-we had to share our new music/dance video. Dora and Diego songs get us moving these days so here we are in full dance mode...enjoy!

Mimi had her 18 month dr appointment. She is 1/2 in shorter than I was (she is 31 3/4 in) and 2 lbs lighter than I was (she is 21lb 140z) at 18 months. She still wears 12 month pants...18 month is too big for her-can you believe that! Anyway-she was great at the appointment and only had to have 2 shots!

Mimi and I both had an allergist appointment today. My allergies are the same-not getting better and not getting worse. So, for the record, I avoid all nuts/coconut and eggs. Mom had Mimi tested and she tested VERY positive for Sunflowers-so we have to avoid Sunbutter...sunflower oil etc. She is NOT allergic to any nuts or eggs. So that is the good news!

We are participating in the Food Allergy Walk in Atlanta on October 1st. We would love it if you could make a donation to support the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and our team, Hank's Heroes! Thank You!

Last Day of Vacation-NJ Shore

The last day of our vacation on the East Coast was spent with our cousins. They live by the Jersey shore so we got to go to the Boardwalk!
Alexandra and I hanging out before bed at Grandma and Grandpa's
YAY! Rides!
Mimi and I loved all of the rides and we got to ride some of them together!
Mommy went with us on the high flying ferris wheel
Danny and I got to ride the motorcycles together
Alexandra and I rode the car together
Mommy and I rode up high in an elephant!
We all went for a ride on the crazy bus!
I do LOVE the water!
The sun was very bright that day...we all had to squint!
And the day ended with some ice cream at our cousins house!

We had a great trip! We look forward to the East Coast Tour 2012!

Three Sisters Island

The next part of our trip was to Niagara Falls. We spent some time in the water at Three Sisters Island. Here are some of the views and fun that we had!
Beautiful day...beautiful view...
Another beautiful view...
The gang hanging out on the rocks
Mimi and I walking with Grandpa Ed and Daddy
Daddy and I talking things over on a bridge
Everybody smile!
These next 2 pics are part of about 10 pics that Daddy took while trying to get EVERYBODY to smile and look at the camera at the same time.....
And as you can see...we were not able to get on pic with everyone looking at the camera and smiling!
We enjoyed a nice pizza and chicken finger subs lunch at the park. Lunch was chosen by Daddy since it was his birthday!
I LOVE playing in the water!
So serious...
3 out of 4 of us are smiling!
Mommy and Mimi had to make the long walk back up the hill to the car...and it was a LONG walk!

East Coast Tour 2011

We have so many pictures to share with you from our trip up (and back down) the East Coast! Here is the first set from our Thursday night family get together at Uncle John and Aunt Terry's house.
Danny, Christoper, Uncle Joe and I were enjoying some chips...
Mimi and I took some time out from socializing to eat.
Our cousins, Grandma Mary, Grandpa Ed and Uncle Dan enjoying the food as well
Mikey gave me rides on the skateboard!! I had so much fun and I am still talking about it!
I decided to help Grandpa teach Mimi how to ride...
And all that fun really tired me out!
Here are all the cousins. Boy is it hard to get everyone to look and smile at the same time...as you can see since I am covering my face!

We are very excited to leave for our East Coast Tour on Wednesday! So we will have lots of pics to share with you when we get back next week. But for now, here are the latest pics of what we have been doing to keep busy this summer.
I have become very good at baseball. Here I am swinging at the tee but I am pretty good at hitting the ball when dad pitches it to me too!
How's my stance?
Someone needs to teach Mimi what you are really supposed to do with a golf club...
Yes, this is me, on the floor watching my favorite band...the Fresh Beats. And as you can see, I don't even care that I have food stuck to my bottom...I had to get down from breakfast and run to the tv to make sure that I didn't miss them!
I have become very good a making a mess with my ice cream...
Although, I think it is really art...not a mess...
And Hank may be able to finger paint with real paint...but I had to teach him how to finger paint the table with ice cream!
Mimi and I hanging out at Mr.Brian's housewarming party.
It was supposed to be finger painting but then I found a popsicle stick and used that instead..that way my hands would not get so dirty :)
