Happy Halloween!

First, you need to carve the pumpkins...so I helped Dad with that.
Mom said "Hank, make a face like the pumpkin" so this is what I think he looks like...
The finished products...and our Cookie Monster pumpkin!
I am happy that Halloween is finally here...Mimi seems rather bothered by it...but she would not put her pumpkin bucket down...
Nothing would make her put the pumpkin bucket down...
And while I was off on a pre trick-or-treat bathroom break...she took mine too!
In this one, Mom said "give me your best smile" and this is what she got!
Luigi is getting his hat adjusted, Ladybug is observing the other trick-or-treaters out and about
And Ladybug REFUSED to wear her hood.
And then we took off for the first house! Mimi had to drag her pumpkin by the time we were done because she got so much candy! It was a great Halloween and we can't wait for next year!

Pumpkin Patch and Other Miscellaneous...

Fun at Berry Patch Pumpkin Farm! Mimi found her gourds and never let go of them!
I mean, she never let go of them...
The tractor drives us out to the pumpkins and drops us off to find our perfect one!
I tried lifting several....they are heavy!
We like watching all the people!
Look at all the pumpkins!
I have a new cradle for my baby! It used to be Mommy's when she was a little girl. We got it all cleaned up and now my baby can sleep comfortably!
Elmo and my Pez (the witch's hat in my hand)....two favorites!
We are Mommy's baking helpers! This is cake pop day....
This was chocolate chip cookie day...
And after all that sampling...we are still hungry...so we sit down to have a little snack..."look Mom, we're sharing!"

Florida Fun!

We arrived in Fl late on Saturday night so we were up bright and early Sunday, watching the birds and playing on Aunt Liz's back patio...which is so cool because it is right next to the water!
We went to the Zoo and had a lot of fun.....Mimi loved watching these guys eat up their lettuce!
Aunt Liz and Mr.Ben....and Mimi getting a free ride...
We love the carousel!
And the train...
And what better after a fun day then a fun piggy-back ride with Mr.Ben!
And then the beach! We went to the beach both Monday and Tuesday because we loved it so much!
We would just sit and dig and dig and dig
And the water was nice....and it was not busy....
sod we dug some more...
And we enjoyed watching the fish that swam close to the edge...and feeding them
And of course, we enjoyed a good dessert with Aunt Liz to end a good day! We can't wait to go back to Florida again!

Food Allergy Walk Atlanta

Saturday, October 1st was our Food Allergy Walk. THANK YOU to everyone who supported Hank's Heroes. It was a cold morning...but we rallied and had a great time!
Here is our walking team.... (L to R) Addison, Michelle, Alexis, Rob, Mom and Mimi, Dad and me and Jeff.
Who we walk for!
There were a couple of hills...but we made it!
And when it was all said and done, we had fun and we really look forward to it next year!
Right after the walk, we took off for Aunt Liz's house in FL. But the walk wore me out so I had to contain my beach excitement to catch up on some rest!
"What, we are almost at Aunt Liz's house....but I am not ready!!"
"I have to do my hair and....." :)
Whatever....are we there yet??

Beach pictures coming soon...

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed came for a visit a couple weeks ago...and did we have fun! Grandpa took us for some great wagon rides!
And they played with us....
And we visited the Botanical Gardens. We took a walk over the new walkway the constructed high up in the trees...it was pretty cool!
And we took pictures by the pretty scenery...
And we walked and walked and walked!
Mimi spent some time with the frog...
and I spent some time trying to see how I "measured up" to the flowers.

We spent most of our time playing and having so much fun! We did not want them to leave...and we can't wait to see them again real soon!

This big boy is fully potty-trained now! And he did it in a week...all by himself...no more diapers at all! So as a reward he got a scooter...which he absolutely loves! Daddy is happy because that saves us money and I am happy because it is a lot less diapers to change each day. Yay for Hank!

A Few Updates

First of all-we had to share our new music/dance video. Dora and Diego songs get us moving these days so here we are in full dance mode...enjoy!

Mimi had her 18 month dr appointment. She is 1/2 in shorter than I was (she is 31 3/4 in) and 2 lbs lighter than I was (she is 21lb 140z) at 18 months. She still wears 12 month pants...18 month is too big for her-can you believe that! Anyway-she was great at the appointment and only had to have 2 shots!

Mimi and I both had an allergist appointment today. My allergies are the same-not getting better and not getting worse. So, for the record, I avoid all nuts/coconut and eggs. Mom had Mimi tested and she tested VERY positive for Sunflowers-so we have to avoid Sunbutter...sunflower oil etc. She is NOT allergic to any nuts or eggs. So that is the good news!

We are participating in the Food Allergy Walk in Atlanta on October 1st. We would love it if you could make a donation to support the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and our team, Hank's Heroes! Thank You!
