SNOW MUCH FUN!

 When it all started…it was a nice dusting for GA...

 And when it all ended…it was a heavy coating by GA standards…not really by this NJ/Chicago family.  We have been waiting for this!

 Hank and Mimi got out there right away.  Nothing can stop them from playing in the snow!

 Day 2 and they are searching for snow as it starts to melt away fast!

Snow castles are still in the shade so they are still surviving…maybe another day?

What We Have Been Up To...

It's cold here…cold for GA.  We have had several days only in the teens…too cold for us!  But we have been keeping busy...

 Snuggling on the couch keeps us warm :)

 The extent of the snow we have received.  Really, if it is going to be this cold we should at least be able to enjoy more snow that that!

 Mimi loves all her new kitchen appliances, mixer, blender, coffemaker and a toaster…Hank even joins in…thanks Grandma Judy!

 When you are in town you need to swing by Mimi's cafe…open for business :)

 Some of the days are really tough around here…really tough...

 Ready for action…Mimi is even dressed for it in her Belle heels...

 Hank went to an awesome birthday party for his friend Martin at Skyzone…

 Trampolines are everywhere…you can bounce off the walls.  Here is Hank in action…and blurry because he is moving so fast!

 This girl will mix anything.  Today was mixing paint...

 One of our nicer days…we walked home from school.  Hank and his buddy Eric.

 Mommy lets me help with dinner now.  Of course, we are very careful on the stove…but I get to mix things!

Another nice day we had we went mini golfing…and Hank got a hole in 1!

A Funny Video

They are playing a Dance Wii game so they are following people's dance moves on the TV.   Ed dances like I don't know what, Hank is talking and dancing at the same time-which makes me laugh the most-and Mimi just dances quietly in the background.  LAUGH-It's good for you!

Fun in Chicago!

 We took off for Chicago and Hank had his friend Perry for the 12 hour drive...

 Mimi had her friend Ariel along for the ride…Perry is photo bombing in the background :)

 SNOW!  We got to Grandma Judy and Grandpa Wayen's and we got to see snow!

 Then the cousins arrived and the fun started!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

 We started Christmas Eve by making Snowman cookies for Santa!

 And, of course, we had to make the food for the reindeer…we have cheerios, carrots, coco puffs, pretzel crackers and sun chips :)

 Hank and Daddy took the food to the patio for the reindeer to munch on once they arrive

 Cookies all set on the of replace with chocolate milk and a letter from Mimi...

 And the traditional reading of Twas the Night before Christmas.

 All smiles as we head down at 6:15am on Christmas morning!
