Mimi's Surgery

Mimi had to have a tonsillectomy/adenoid revision and her tongue clipped.  Yes…poor thing!  But she did awesome and everything went really well :)

 Came back from surgery and fell right to sleep for 2 hours!

 And this is the sweet face I saw when she woke up :)

 She loved the little socks they gave her

 After removing the IV she had a big bandage!

 Then she had to remain fairly inactive for 7-10 days so we found quieter things to do such as bubble...

That was almost 3 weeks ago and you would never know what she went thru…except for the lack of large tonsils in the back of her throat!

Last Days of School and First Week of Summer!

We had the last days of school at the end of May and the first week of Summer!

 This was Mimi's 3 yr old recital.  SHe sang perfectly! :)

 Last Day party…her teachers said "we really wish she had been with us all year, she is so sweet"

 Last day of school pool party!  We did not know the pool was going to be open, only thought we were having popsicles at the pool.  So they lounged with their feet in the water.

First Plane Ride and Visit to OKC

 Mimi and Mommy got to visit new cousin baby Jack Wayne Harris in OKC a couple weeks ago.  It was Mimi's first time on a plane!

 We got to ur seats and snapped a selfie - ready to go!

 Finally a tree she can climb at Aunt Liz and Uncle Ben's house

 We got a smile and we caught it on camera!

 Mimi did not want to hold him by herself right away so we did a 3 person hold the first time.

 And we liked taking Jack into the grass to feel it on his toes.  He was not too sure about how he felt about it…as you can see from his face.

More Spring Break Fun...

 Having Grandma and Grandpa around means they get to read you stories!

 We spent Hank's 6th birthday at Legoland…most awesome place on earth for a 6 year old boy who LOVES roller coasters!

Birthdays and Beaches!

Well, we have not had our computer for a while so I have not been able to update the blog.  So here goes…we will play catch-up with pictures over the next couple days!

 Happy 6th Birthday to Hank.  He LOVES the bean bag chair from Aunt Liz and Uncle Ben!

 We took off for spring break for a week of fun in the sun in Florida!  Always love to stop at the Welcome center in FL to get these goofy pictures :)

 After a short 8 hour trip we made it and headed right out to look for our dolphin friends.  We saw them several of the days we were there…I think they like it when Mimi visits :)

 Only one somewhat cloudy day and Hank and Dad took a walk on the beach.  Dad got an action shot of Hank!

 New amenity for Aunt Liz's community is the shuffle board.  Hank and Mimi became big fans of the game asking to play EVERY day at least once!

 Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed arrived on Wednesday for some fun with us...

And Hank and Mimi got busy burying Grandpa!
