I'm a Big Girl Now (Sort of)

Welcome to my new room! I moved out of the crib/toddler bed and into a new twin bed and a newly decorated room!
Pink is such a pretty color...
The headboard Daddy made for me using the blanket Aunt Sue made for me when I was born. Very girly-it's hard to see but it says MIMI in the center
My butterfly and flowers wall...I show it to anyone who walks in my room, it is my favorite part of the room! (And Mommy made the curtains!)
My fun name wall...and Daddy painted the pink trim for me. Don't you just love my new room!
Hank and I enjoyed "testing" out my new bed after Daddy got it set up. Everybody likes jumping on a bed, right?

Mother's Day and Other Random....

We attended a "Woofstock" Festival with my friend Addison and her family. Of course, I was not that interested in the dogs....more interested in the water fountains!
Addison and I enjoying the water
Pre-Mother's Day Brunch...we needed a snack to hold us over until brunch at the Doubletree
No matter how hard Dad tries...he can't get both Mimi and I to smile at the same time!
Not sure Ripken is enjoying himself as much as I am!
Hank's "move"...for the camera
Mimi being silly in the playroom with Elmo upside down on her head!
We have a new rook...and mimi and I LOVED watching the guys work...going up and down ladders, dumping stuff in the dumpster...all sorts of neat stuff!
Just a little brother and sisterly love wrestling!

Little Hank at the Big Capital

A HUGE Thank You to Governor Deal for signing the Proclamation declaring May 8th-14th as Food Allergy Awareness Week in Georgia!
Today was my first trip the to Golden Dome...Georgia's Capital building! I had to get dressed up because I was meeting the Governor!
I loved the steps...but they make me look so small!
A nice man took this pic of Mommy and me
The floor had lights!
At first, I was not too sure about having my picture taken...but it was with the Governor...and how many chance do you get to do that so.....
I smiled as always with my big cheesy grin!

Mommy videotaped me walking the steps...it was so much fun!

Easter Fun!

We attended a Easter Egg Hunt/Spring Fair at the school that is right across the street from us on Saturday. They had a lot of inflatable games/bouncers for me to play in!
I really enjoyed shooting hoops!
Mimi just chilled and watched all the people...
I am starting to get the hang of the egg hunt thing!
There were a lot of people so I had to work fast!
Mom had to carry my basket as it got to heavy for me!
Then we got to go home and enjoy some bird's nests that Mommy made for us...yummy chocolate and pretzels...
Yummy and messy!
And Easter morning! The Easter Bunny had a trail of eggs starting on our stairs and leading us down to our baskets in the family room. Yay! I got books!
And I was very pleased with my basket as well!
Now it is time to relax and sort through all the eggs and stuff...
And I, of course, had to sort out my candies and toys too!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Saturday was our First Annual Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta Easter Egg Hunt! For those of you that don't know, my Mommy is a Local Area Leader for the FAK of Atlanta. She was one of the organizers for the egg hunt and it was a ton of fun! As you can see from a lot of the pics the wind was crazy blowing and it was a little cool. This is a pic of Mommy, Mimi and the Easter Bunny...
Mimi kept busy looking for her eggs...
I was looking for any eggs that had bouncy balls in them... (I helped Mommy sort out and count all the eggs the night before so I got a sneak peek of what was in them!)
Mimi got 2!
And I am still searching....
That Easter Bunny sure was funny! We had so much fun and we are so thankful that we had beautiful weather and an awesome event! Big thanks to Mommy and and the other organizers!
Oh yeah, and we had horrible rains the night before so there were A LOT of puddles for me to play in when I wasn't looking for eggs!
