Family

Boy, did we have fun with our Minnesota cousins! They drove all the way here to Atlanta to visit us! It was a very hot week...AGAIN...so we had to stay by the water!
First night they got here we went to the pool here in our community
We tried going to a park on one of the days but it was just too hot! We did not stay at the park very long!
We all posed for the nice park picture....all of us except for Mimi...
Ahhhhh, popsicles...nothing better on a hot day!
One of the days we just stayed home and ran the sprinklers and played with the water table...
Mimi is watching very closely...
Hank and his "boys" Joey and Thomas resting after all the sprinkler runs
We had a little indoor fun with the Wii.
Then we went to a sprinkler park on another day....
And a little more indoor fun with coloring books, crayons and markers. Of course, Mimi was enjoying a snack...

So much fun! We hated to see them go! Hank still says "I miss Joey" every day...thanks for a great visit!

Hello! We have been busy re-decorating our family room! Daddy even taught me how to use a roller (probably because any future paint jobs will be my responsibility!) :)
We will show you the finished product soon!
Yep-that's me eating a raw spear of asparagus...Grandpa Wayne-aren't you proud!
So Mimi really makes my time-outs not seem so bad...she always comes and sits with me...and as you will see in the video below....I love her for it!
Daddy and me enjoying a nice little luncheon...I had to dress for the occasion!
These faces may look sweet...but .....
Mom took a pic as I was preparing the meal for Daddy and me...
Hank with his famous #1 move...
Well, Mimi did not escape the food allergies like we hoped. She had Sunbutter on her bagel (a sunflower seed spread that we use in place of peanut butter-since Hank can't have it). All it took was one touch and she got hives on her hand which made her itchy, which then made her itch her eyes and they puffed up with hives and got all red. (And this pic was taking well after the medicine took effect). It's a good thing we had medicine on hand that we use for Hank. I guess we will have to get her tested for others next time we visit the allergist! Poor Mimi!
Hank was busy playing with my bike so I got to be in the Jeep all by myself!

A little brother-sister love!

Happy 4th of July!

We spend a lot of time at the park early these days...it gets too hot later...I love the big slides...
And the big trees!
And I still love to wear the costumes (this is Handy Manny meets Super Why)...but i think Mommy needs to invest in some princess/girly costumes...what do you think??
Mimi's princess hair set comes in handy when Daddy needs a new do :) I am drying and Mimi is ready to use the straightener :)
Mim and I share a moment...
And then Mimi needs to get busy making dinner with Mommy!
4th of July at our friend Addison and Alexis' house. Mr. Jeff is fun to play with!
I loved cooling off in the pool!
All our friends. From left to right, Bryson, me, Mimi, Alexis and Addison.
My first time with a sparkler!

A big thanks to Mr.Rob who created this awesome water slide for us. What a way to keep cool on such a hot day...and have a lot of fun!

Our Illinois trip!

We had a great trip to Grandma Judy and Grandpa Wayne's house! What Mimi and I realized when we went back through the pictures is that Mommy and Daddy did not take a lot of pictures! We did a lot of stuff-but they forgot to take pics of it! Hopefully our cousins got more pics than we did...you gotta get better at that Mom and Dad!
On the road...we took off at 4am...
and obviously this is much later than that since the sun is out!
LOVED the sandbox and swing set!
Thank goodness Mommy packed several extra clothes since we wound up with sand in every pocket!
Thomas worked on a Spongebob puzzle with me....
and sort of with Mimi....Mimi just liked pushing the pieces on the floor!
We had fun coloring...
And of course eating with all our cousins! (Joey, Nathan, Thomas, Eva, Anna and Cindy is at the table with us)

We also went swimming, stayed in a hotel, played with lots of new toys and with Venus! We had so much fun...and Hank says everyday "I want to go back to Grandma Judy's...so hopefully we will again soon!

Hi! As we mentioned before, we spend a lot of time at the park early in the morning lately since it is too hot later in the day...and the heat is STILL going on! We are headed up to Chicago to see Grandma Judy and Grandpa Wayne and cousins on Thursday and it is cooler up there so we are looking forward to it! I am sure we will have lots of pics to share with you after that!
Mimi is not afraid at the park anymore! She climbs with me, slides with me...everything!
I still have to cheer her on when we go thru the tunnels...
I know Hank would like me to do more but I love the steps!
I love climbing!
So Mom gave me bin to put my Big Big Loader pieces into....she left the room and when she came back, she saw the surprise I had for her...I emptied out a lot of my other toys into the bin as well...now it has everything!
Keeping cool with the popsicles!
And so yes, again, Mom only left us for a minute and when she came back-she saw that Mimi and I had climbed into the water table with our clothes on...sorry Mom...we needed to keep cool!

We will talk with you again when we get back from Chicago!!

Hot Hot Hot!

It has been hot here in Atlanta for a couple of weeks now. And by hot, I mean 95! We usually go to the park early in the morning before the heat of the day and then spend the rest of them time in the cool house. So here is how we fill our time...
Mimi and I are pretty good mess-makers...and as you can see this is still early morning-we still have our pj's on!
Yes, this is how I look before I have my first cup of coffee :)
And sooooo......I think I am old enough to not have to take a nap anymore. Except on this night, I didn't even make it thru dinner and I fell asleep!
I like to have a good time-put a costume or part of one on me and I will be the life of the party!
I realized we never showed you my birthday gift from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed! Mimi and I get a lot of use out of it (early in the a.m)...and I have a couple videos of us riding around in it that I will post soon!
Life of the party back! Today I am a combination ballerina and Super Why!
I have learned how to color (only on the paper-not on the table) so Hank and I spend a lot of time doing that in the afternoon
Mom says "Hank, can you smile?" and this is what she gets!
It is tiring being the life of the party-I need a break!
