1st Day of Pre-K

My First Day of Pre-K!  And Mimi is tagging along....

Grandpa Wayne!

All we are asking is that everyone offers up a big prayer...or good karma or best wishes to Grandpa Wayne tomorrow morning at 7am.  He will undergo open heart surgery for a valve repair and we just hope that all goes well!  We love you Grandpa Wayne!

Long Road-Trip Ahead

Hi!  Thought we would show you what we have been up to before we leave on a long road trip up the East Coast!  We leave Friday and are not coming back until the following Saturday and we are very excited!

 Hank LOVES playing Angry Birds on Mommy and Daddy's phones!

 New books from our cousins in Iowa, Anna and Nathan...We love new books!

 Mimi got  several princess books which she LOVESand I got lots of Lego and Superhero books which I LOVE too!  Thanks Anna and Nathan!

 Sprayground is a good way to keep cool!

 One of Mimi's chores is to set the table...looks like Daddy has all the utensils he needs, Mommy gets a knife to eat with and there are plenty of napkins to go around!

Mimi is fast becoming a bag lady...she will grab any bag available and fill it with all kinds of STUFF!

Jumpers and Dancers

Mommy learned that while she was away a couple weekends ago, Daddy played a lot of his music in the playroom...how did she learn this...by hearing Mimi sing a lot of the words to Grateful Dead songs (while jumping) and Hank dancing to a lot of marching band music.  These videos will have you laughing!

British Soccer

I have been in soccer camp this week.  We are being coached by players and coaches over here from Great Britain!  I have had a lot of fun playing.  It has been hot and other nights rainy but still lots of fun!

Hot Days!

 If we can, we try to get out to the parks across the street early on these hot days.  We can play for an hour or so before it gets just too hot!

 I love the tunnels...Mimi is not so sure...

 But we both love slides!

 Yes, it has been that hot here!  That was our hottest day so far this year...we are supposed to cool off a little this week....

 Mommy went to Chicago this past weekend for Aunt Liz's shower.  We wanted to let her know how happy we were to see her...

Mimi was so excited to see Mommy...that she fell asleep before we even picked her up :)

Arts & Crafts....Arts & Crafts...

It has been VERY HOT here this week...so Mom and Dad have been trying to come up with things to keep us busy inside...not always out in the sun...so here is a look at what we have been doing...

Make a Lego car and then insert a blown up balloon and watch it race!

 We didn't really play this one the way Mom taught us...you try to hit balloons into a laundry basket using a pool noodle.  Mimi and I just liked hitting balloons around!

 Mom found pictures to print...put them in clear plastic sheet protectors and then we use play-doh to finish the picture.  Mimi was planting carrots in the garden for her bunny...

 I was adding apples to the tree and petals to the flower!

 Another fun one...take a pool noodle and cut it in half...use the tube part to race marbles into a laundry basket!

 Daddy made some rockets for me and Mimi....super cool!

 These days, I will build anything with any kind go Lego.  I love big Duplos and I love small Lego sets...this is my big block birthday cake!

 During Mimi's nap time (I don't nap anymore) I help Mommy with her 31 business.  I like stamping the order forms!

But most of all...we LOVE swimming.  We go to the community pool and to the Fitness Club pool.  We are a couple of fish!

Daddy decided he needed to pressure wash the entire fence...and so here is he...with his little helpers!

Summer Stuff

Hank the "Hose Man"  Watch as he does not even know that Mommy is recording him!  He LOVES to go out and spray anything and everything with the hose!

 Me?  I prefer the indoors...looking at pictures of my cousins.

 Picnic at the park!  We had a great weather so we took a walk across the street and played on 5 different playgrounds at the school!  We were glad to take a break and eat some lunch!

 My beauty routine starts early...obviously I have not washed my face yet for the day but doesn't my hair look fantastic!

 Warm weather means lots of pool fun!

Summer Is Here!

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend!  We traveled to Aunt Liz's house in Tampa.  Mommy and Mimi traveled on to Key West with Aunt Liz, Mr. Ben and Grandma Judy to do some wedding recon work for the weekend and Daddy and I stayed in Tampa.  

 The weather was HOT!  We spent a lot of time at the beach and pool!

 Key West was just as HOT!  We spent some time at the beach and pool when we weren't working on wedding planning!

 We had to take a boat in Key West to the Sunset Key Cottages where we were staying.  How cool is that!  So I enjoyed watching the the guys drive boat each time we rode it!

 Daddy and I had a LOT of fun at Legoland...I did not make it out of the parking lot before passing out asleep!
