FIRST HAIRCUT!

Here it is ladies and gentleman...my first haircut photos! I figured since so many people are coming to see me on my big day (14 days and counting....) I should get myself cleaned up! Now, I know what you are thinking...in most of my photos, you don't even see my hair because it is so fair, but I have it! And it was getting a little unruly. So Mom and Dad took me to this fun place called Pigtails and Crewcuts and we got down to business!
I got settled into my fire engine and was ready to take off. Marybeth started by wetting down my hair.
The scissors felt a little weird at first, but there was so much to look at, I didn't focus on them for too long...

What is this cape thing anyway?? It kept covering up my hands and I couldn't drive.
In the end, the cape came off and I was loving my first haircut (and the bell on the fire engine!).

Birthday Prep

Mom must have snapped this picture while I was napping! Me and my buddy Grover taking a snooze (He goes with me wherever I go!). We need a break from all this birthday prep that is going on around here! Jungle animals are popping up all over the place, gifts are starting to arrive, and Mom and Dad keep singing "Happy Birthday" (with my Little People birthday party toy-thanks to my cousins and Aunt Sue and Uncle Tony in Minnesota)...they say we need to practice for the big day! Boy this party planning is a lot of work-so you can see why Grover and I need our rest!
Mom found this awesome eggless cake recipe that we tried out this weekend. I got my first taste of a frosted cake...and it was delicious! Mom just gave me some small pieces but I hear that I get the whole cake on the big day...so I am looking forward to that!
I continue to be on the move-crawling, cruising along the furniture and walls. Not sure if I will be walking by my birthday or not but that is still a few weeks away...so who knows!

St. Patty's Day

HAPPY ST.PATRICK'S DAY!
If you are ever in Atlanta on St.Patrick's Day, you have to have your picture taken with Mr.Mike in his full outfit. This is his favorite day of the year. The outfit is pretty intimidating-as you can tell by my face in the picture but nonetheless, I can now say that I have had my picture taken with Pope Mike!

Allergy Update Part 2

Well, the news is not as good as we had hoped. As I mentioned after my last appointment, according to the skin test in the Dr's office, my egg and peanut allergies were less reactive than before and the soy was more reactive. So we thought the egg and peanut may be going away. Dr. Rezvani called today and said he got the bloodwork back and it shows that the egg allergy is actually twice as bad as it was 6 months ago. The peanut and soy allergies were about the same. So since the bloodwork looked that way-my allergies are not going away yet...but I have hope they will someday! The good news is that Mommy is now really good at making things with substitutions for eggs. She just made a zucchini bread with bananas and applesauce...and it is really good. Now she just needs to find a cake recipe with no eggs for my birthday party...can't wait!

Gifts

I guess you could say that I really like gifts! Some have started to trickle in for my birthday and Mom and Dad said it is ok to open them now. They don't want me on gift overload on my actual birthday...so we started this weekend. I got a real laugh out of these......

I love spring!

Hi guys! I had to share these pics with you...we had a beautiful weekend and this week has started out warm as well. We have spent a lot of time outside. Mom strapped my booster seat onto a patio chair so I could enjoy the weather!

Dad did some landscaping...he added a couple new bushes so Mom and I had to water them today. I grabbed the water can so we could get going...

Just another day enjoying the weather from my chair....

Dad and I chillin' after dinner tonight. I like playing with the grass. I also like trying to put it in my mouth...but Dad stops me from doing that!

My bubbles are great outdoor fun. Daddy makes me laugh when he blows the bubbles and then yells "pop 'em!"

Allergy Update

It was a cold day here on Monday when Mom, Grover and I piled into the car to head to my Allergist appointment. It has been six months since my last visit. They did another skin test just on the eggs, soy and peanuts. Good news is that it looks like the egg and peanut allergy are starting to fade. But the soy allergy is is still very strong. I had to have blood taken (OUCH!) to verify the skin tests, so we will know the final results in another week.
I have some great videos and pics of what I have been up to lately. Let me tell you, I am a busy guy! So stay tuned for more soon......

What's this white stuff?

I saw some of this white stuff-most call it snow, in NJ and Chicago over Christmas. I have never seen it come down in Atlanta though!

I had to interrupt my lunch to watch it when it began...

This is our deck when it first started snowing...

My first snowman! Since we are not used to making snowmen, we did not have a lot of the ingredients. So he has chocolate chunk eyes and a carrot nose!

This is neat! But I am glad we don't see it all that often....I don't have the right clothes to play in it!
