Kickin' Back

So here is what has been going on with me! On Monday, Mommy and I went to storytime at the library. That was a lot of fun and we are going to keep going now every Monday. Tomorrow is my first Gymboree class-I am really looking forward to that! I had a rough week last week. A couple of doctor visits and the end result is that I have food allergies. I am allergic to eggs, soy and peanuts. Yes, the dreaded peanut allergy. We do not know how bad I will react to any of these but for now, Mommy had to change her diet. We are happy to know all of this now-sooner rather than later!

I will show you some pics of my newly painted and decorated playroom soon!

Kicking back-I discovered my feet a couple of months ago but I can't get enough of them!

Final Part of our East Coast Vacation

On Saturday of our vacation, we went to Uncle Dan and Aunt Alana's house to celebrate cousin Danny and Uncle Dan's birthdays. Sunday and Monday we just stayed at Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed's house. It was great to finally meet my cousins and Aunt and Uncle! It was a great vacation and I hoped you enjoyed my pictures!

Here I am with my cousins Danny and Alexandra-they're funny! They call me baby cousin Hank.

This is our family and my cousins (with my new cousin Brendan) and Aunt Alana and Uncle Dan

And at this point in the day, we all had enough of the pictures. None of us were happy-except Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed.

Part V - East Coast Vacation

Friday of our vacation was a travel day. We drove from North Tonawanda, NY to Northvale, NJ to see Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed. I decided Daddy needed a little help with his driving so I took the wheel...

On the way to NJ, we stopped off to meet my buddy Jack in Syracuse , NY. I was so excited to finally meet him!

I discovered that Jack and I have the same high chair. Although, he gets to eat solid food in his...I still just play with toys in mine...

Jack had a bunch of cool toys. He can sit up all by himself and play. I am not quite there yet but I hope to be soon!
Here is me and Daddy and Jack and his Daddy. After this picture we got back in the car and headed on to NJ. More about that tomorrow.......

Part III - East Coast Vacation

On Wednesday and Thursday night, we got together with some extended family. So I got to meet some Great Aunts & Uncles and 2nd cousins. They are all so much fun! There were so many pictures that I could have posted but I think these are the best! I got passed around to almost everyone and Mommy said I did pretty well......until Great Uncle Dave put me on his shoulders...
All my second cousins...from left to right starting in the back row:
Tommy, me, Daddy, Mikey, Brad,
April, Sarah, Crissy
and Christopher in the front row.
Daddy said everyone gets their picture taken on this slide in the park across from Great-Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Me on Great Uncle Dave's shoulders-Daddy and Great Uncle John and Mikey are watching...

I got a little scared and grabbed onto his hair-sorry Great Uncle Dave!

First Attempts with Food

I had my first solid food recently and I can tell you right now that rice cereal is not good. I figured out how to eat it but it does not taste good. Now, on the other hand, mashed bananas are really good! I am going to keep trying other foods and I will let you know what I think of them!

4 Month Update

Well here are the results from my 4 month check-up...but first, let's recap my 2 month check-up again:

2 Months
Weight: 11lb 7oz
Height: 23 1/2 in

4 Months
Weight: 15lb 6oz
Height: 25 3/4 in

I have done a lot of growing! I am in the 75-90th percentile for my height...Mommy is not sure where that is coming from but at 4 months-I fit best in 6-9 month clothing! Otherwise, everything else is good. I can roll over from my back to my stomach no problem (Mommy came in to feed me a couple nights in a row and found me on my tummy). I can occasionally roll from my front to my back. I am really strong at holding my head up when on my tummy. I can sit up well with a little assistance-Dr. Harrell was very impressed with that. I love grabbing my legs and feet. Dr. Harrell felt teeth under my gums and said all my drooling means they will be coming in... I get to start on rice cereal-not sure how I will like that but I will keep you posted. And Mommy called me a Champion since I did not cry very much from the shots-once Daddy held me after it was all over. So, overall a great visit and I go back in 2 months. In the meantime, I am going to keep growing!

New Stroller

Mommy started running again so I got a new stroller! This is a much smoother ride for me on the track around the elementary school. As you can tell by the first picture-I love it!

World of Coke

Erin and Don were here for a visit! We took my first trip to the World of Coke! What a fun place. We watched a movie, looked at some memorabilia and got to taste lots of different kinds of Coke. Of course, I didn't, but everybody else did. Everybody's favorite was Bibo from Africa...and if you ever go there...do not taste Beverly from Italy...trust me.

P.S...I have my 4 month check-up on Monday...I will let you know how the weigh-in goes!

My New Room!

I moved into my new room last weekend. Sleeping in a crib is a breeze! Although Mommy had a hard time with it-I guess she missed having me closer to her. We have been busy setting up the whole house-still so much to do! I am still going to physical therapy but Jenny told me and Mommy today that I am looking really good and we can start to attend sessions every other week-so that is good news! I will be 4 months old on Monday! Which also means I have a doctor's appt coming up...more shots. I hope Mommy will be able to handle it better this time. A lot of people we meet say I am big for my age so I guess we will find out at my appointment on the 18th. I wonder how much I will weigh???

Anyway, her are some pics of the new room. We don't have anything on the walls yet but I like the paint colors and the celing fan so that is what I stare at the most...

New Toys

Now that I am more aware of the world around me, Mommy and Daddy thought it was time for some new toys. Here I am with some of what I got...

My Baby Einstein duck we nicknamed Viv-because she plays Vivaldi music. I really like her!

My Baby Einstein entertainer-I really like the sun rattle!

Again in the entertainer-Mommy says in this picture I look exactly like a baby picture of Daddy...

This seat helps me learn how to sit up. Daddy says I look like I am sitting in a hot tub...

This picture is for Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed who got me the OCC onesie and Paul Sr. doll-how fun!
