Christmas at Grandma Judy's and Grandpa Wayne's

These are late pictures as well but I wanted to share them with you! We left for Chicago the day after Christmas. We go to spend a lot of time with our cousins and extended family and we got a bunch more presents! Here are some highlights from the trip!

Boy did Mr.Ben and I have some fun with a couple of balloons and some wrestling on the aerobed. He had me laughing and laughing!

More good times...

We got to help Grandma Judy make chicken...we got to shake it in the bag!

And Uncle Andy was some fun too! We were building orange towers and toppling them over! What a great Christmas!

First Day of School!

Yesterday was my first day of preschool at St.Thomas Aquinas! It was a very fun and tiring day!

I decided to give you 3 shots of me with my new backpack...

My Mario backpack that is bigger than me.....but I HAD to have it!

And I chose my outfit...my favorite shirt since it is black and white...my favorite colors!

The teacher said I was great and you would have never even known that it was my first day...YAY!I We got home about 1:40 pm and I was a little tired so I decided to lay down on the couch...I fell asleep and at some point I rolled off the couch onto the floor...and never woke up! Whew school really wore me out...but it was so much fun and I can't wait to go back on Thursday!

Christmas Morning!

Yes, we are a little behind in sharing some of these pictures with you. So Sorry! But here they are! These are pics from Santa's visit!

Daddy went downstairs before us to make sure Santa had arrived...and he did. This is my "loot"

And this is what Mimi got!

I got a super awesome Rocketship!

And more motorized track that I can add to what I already have with bridges and tunnels and a turn-around. I so wanted this!

Mimi got lots of great stuff too including a dollhouse!

And as soon as it got light out...we checked the patio to make sure the reindeer ate the food we left for them (thanks to our NJ cousins) and they did!

Too much fun for Mimi! She fell asleep on the couch at 10:30am! What an awesome Christmas!

Thanksgiving in NJ

We went to NJ for Thanksgiving this year. It was a long drive and we always need a day or two to get back to a normal schedule. Mimi had a tough time with naps....and had fallen asleep on Daddy's lap!

We love Grandma and Grandpa's fireplace...so warm and cozy!

And Grandpa read us books...

And Mimi was a great help to Grandma Mary preparing the turkey and all the sides!

While visiting our cousins we ran into Santa Claus! Mimi was not willing to sit with him.

We also got to take a train ride on an old train...I loved it!

And Santa visited us on the train. Danny and I posed for a picture and then told Santa what we want for Christmas...I hope he brings it!

We ended our couple of days there with a very special treat from Grandma Mary...and here is what was left of it after we finished!

Good-Bye Ripken

We had to say good-bye to Ripken tonight. He was getting old and sick and we know he is going to a better place. We love you Ripken and we miss you.

WOW! A big thank you to our cousins Anna and Nathan for sending us a bunch of costumes. We love to play dress-up!

Mimi got a bunch of costumes but was most interested in the pink purse and the book about princesses!

Let's hope Batman can help this poor sad little girl...

We went to an awesome birthday party for our friends Addison and Alexis...they had awesome slides!

Daddy and I got to ride one together!

Back to the costumes...Mimi decided to be Lightning McQueen...

This is a funny video from the birthday party. Daddy, Mimi and I go down the slide (Mimi got a little turned around) but then watch Mimi when she heads for the stairs at the very end of the video....and don't worry...she was not hurt at all and got right back up and climbed the stairs to do it all over again!

Happy Halloween!

First, you need to carve the pumpkins...so I helped Dad with that.

Mom said "Hank, make a face like the pumpkin" so this is what I think he looks like...

I am happy that Halloween is finally here...Mimi seems rather bothered by it...but she would not put her pumpkin bucket down...

Nothing would make her put the pumpkin bucket down...

And while I was off on a pre trick-or-treat bathroom break...she took mine too!

And then we took off for the first house! Mimi had to drag her pumpkin by the time we were done because she got so much candy! It was a great Halloween and we can't wait for next year!
