Whew! What a Week!

I am tired! We had 2 final walk thrus for our new house...which will officially become ours on Monday 6/30. We went on Sunday and Tuesday night. Everything looks good and we are all excited! I had my first physical therapy session yesterday. It did not go very well...the appointment was at 2pm and I decided that I did not want to take any of my morning naps...so needless to say, I was VERY tired by the time of my appointment and I became very cranky. Jenny, the therapist was very patient with me. She gave us exercises to work on the muscles in my neck and we go back to see her next week. I hope to be in a better mood for that appointment. As you can see from the pics below...it has been a long week!

p.s...I want to say "welcome to the world" to my new cousin Brendan. He joins my cousins Danny an Alex and my Aunt Alana and Uncle Dan. I can't wait to meet all of them in August!

You think you know someone...

While surfing the net the other day I checked my buddy Jack Pole's blog and came across a picture of him wearing a Red Sox cap.

Needless to say I became somewhat upset...

I've only got one thing to say about that. . .
GO YANKEES!!!

10 Weeks!

I am 10 weeks old today and getting bigger every day. Yesterday I went to Mommy's office to visit some of her friends. They miss her and keep asking her when she is going to go back to work...but she seems to keep evading the question. I think she likes being at home with me! Then we went to Daddy's office and I saw more pople there. Everybody likes touching me and smelling me. I slept through a lot of it but I enjoyed getting out and meeting new people!

We are still set to close on our new house on June 30th. I will post some pictures of the house once everything is final. I can't wait to have my own room!

Here are some pics from dinner last weekend. I like Mike, he is comfy and warm to cuddle up with. The other pic is my Mommy holding my friend Addison. She is always bouncing!

My Daddy-Morty Seinfeld

Happy Father's Day to my Daddy! Those of you that know my Daddy know that he is a huge Seinfeld fan. Mommy found this t-shirt that was in one of the episodes. Jerry gave it to his Dad-Morty and he wore it all the time. So now my Daddy wears his all the time. He is my #1!

Me and my #1 Me and my #1, only I am not so happy in this one...

2 Months Old!

Look at me! I am 2 months old today! I am very excited to be here!
I had my 2 month check-up at the doctor yesterday. Ouch, not fun. I got 4 shots and I cried but not a lot....and Mommy cried too. She said she was so proud of me! I now weigh in at 11 lbs 7 oz and I am 23 1/2 inches long. I grew a lot in the last month. Mommy said that explains why I can't fit in some of my clothes already. I have moved on to 3 month and 3-6 month clothes. Dr. Harrell said I look good, except that I tend to favor turning my head to one side. So she wants me to go to physical therapy to work out the muscles on the other side of my neck. She said it is no big deal, so I am not worried about it. My cousin Nathan had the same problem with his neck but now he is just fine so I will be too!
I will write again soon. We have been busy house hunting and we actually found a house....we made an offer and it was accepted. We have the inspection this Friday so as long as everything works out, we will have a new home by June 30th! More on that later...
It is still hot here so try to stay cool. To all my cousins in the Midwest...stay dry!

Whew! It's a Hot One!

It is going to be a hot one here today! Somewhere in the 90's and it is so humid. Thank goodness Grandma Judy found this Crab outfit for me to wear-it keeps me cool. Mommy likes the back of the outfit so she took pictures of both sides of me.

Stay Cool!

Memorial Day

We went to my friend Addison's house for a Memorial Day Cook-Out. Daddy and his friends always get competitive playing a Buffalo Bills bean bag toss game. Well, with Addison and me now at the parties, the rules have changed. Mommy and Daddy went up against Jeff and Stacey. Daddy and Jeff had some "extra weight" to deal with...but still had fun!

p.s....Mommy and Daddy won (thanks to Mommy's new "slider" toss)!!

Update

Sorry it has taken me a while to update you! I am going through a growth spurt and I am keeping Mommy very busy. I had my 1 month check-up and it went well. I was 6 lb 14 oz at my 1 week appointment but at the 1 month...I weighed in at 9lb 1 oz and I grew an inch. Dr. Harrell said they give new babies 4 months to double their birth weight but she said if I keep up my current weight gain...I will have no problem with that! I only had 1 shot this time and boy did I cry. Next month I have to have a couple more and I am not looking forward to that. Dr. Harrell also thought that I looked a little jaundice so me and Mommy had to go to the children's hospital to have a blood test to check my bilirubin levels. Good News! My levels are all ok! So that is it for now. I will get some new pictures up here in the next couple of days so all of you can see how much I have changed!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Hi Everyone! Happy Mother's Day! And Happy One Month Birthday to me. I'm one month old today. Mommy and daddy say I've changed so much in only a month.

Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed came down for a visit this past week and we had so much fun. They helped get me acclimated to society. We went antiquing, to the Botanical Gardens, out to dinner...everything. Thanks Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ed!

I have my one month check-up tomorrow. Mommy is nervous because I get shots. I hope it won't be too bad. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

1 week birthday!

I'm one week old this evening! Happy Birthday to me!

I had my first doctor's visit this morning. The doctor said I was the most advanced week old baby they had ever seen. (Yep!) I gained back all of the weight I lost and then some. I now weigh 6lbs 14oz and everything is great.

It was a glorious day here and I went for my first walk outside with mommy, daddy, grandma, Ripken.

Mommy, daddy and me want to thank everyone for all of the wonderful gifts that we have received. They are all great. Thanks again.

Home

The doctors said that since mommy and me were doing so good, we could go home. Everything and everyone at the hospital has been great, but there's no place like home.
Thanks Grandma Mary for the going home outfit. It is cold today so we had to break out the jacket too.

All loaded up.

Welcome home Hank!

Settling in with daddy.

Day 2

Had a great day today. Last night was "challenging" as daddy says. I had shots, blood drawn, pediatric visits, you name it. But today was great. Mommy says I'm eating great and I sleep great. Mommy is feeling great too and the doctors say we can go home on Monday.

I had my first visitors today! Uncles Jeff, Mikey, Rob, Brian and Aunts Stacey and Michelle stopped by to say hi. I wasn't in a great mood, and cried when anyone but mommy held me. But I had a good time nonetheless. (great vocabulary for a 2 day old)

Here are other pics from day two.

J! E! T! S! Jets, Jets, Jets!

And I especially want to thank Grandma Judy for coming down on short notice to help mommy and daddy take care of me. Thanks Grandma.
